Welcome to our enchanting playspace, a hub for nurturing connections within the Baumhaus community.
The first of its kind in Hong Kong, Baumhaus built the family centre concept to house the students from our Kindermusik program. While our Kindermusik students have unlimited weekday playroom access during their term,* we have made our playroom accessible to the general public to experience the joy of learning, and to create happy memories through play.

From climbing the Baumhaus Treehouse to engaging in play & social interaction throughout the café area, this is a place where parents and children come together, creating cherished memories and delightful moments.

The Baumhaus Treehouse thrills and challenges, inviting your child to conquer mental obstacles like climbing over a net and overcoming fears, while physical feats include ascending steps to the next level. Emulating real-life scenarios, active play within the Baumhaus Treehouse serves as a safe space for children to explore and manage complex emotions such as frustration and anger, cultivating resilience and emotional growth.

Our captivating play space is expertly designed by Carsten Rakutt, an Engineer turned Designer and founder of Rakoon Design, whose childhood growing up in the forests of Germany inspired a sense of freedom in open-ended play. Crafted from pure birch wood with no toxic materials, lacquer, or paint, the Baumhaus Treehouse offers a safe haven for your child to play freely, surrounded by natural, chemical-free materials. Certified by PEFC and FSC, the wood is sustainably sourced from Finland, and the treehouse is lovingly produced in Germany.

Free weekday playroom entrance fee is included for those registered for our term Kindermusik classes. For non-registered children, the daily playroom fee is HKD 120 per child (for children from 6 month old). A 50% discounted fee applies to siblings.

We do not take any reservations for the playroom or our cafe. Our playroom is open for walk-in guests, subject to availability. Access will be granted on a first come-first served basis. Priority goes to families who are registered for our classes.

Our goal is to build a community and an environment that is as adult-friendly as it is child-friendly. We encourage friendships to form over coffee and conversation between adults and caregivers while their children play and express themselves in our safe, nurturing space. Our coffee lounge offers food and drink menus and facilities to bring convenience to mealtimes for the whole family.
