Our Story
Founded in 2015 by Crisel Consunji & Carsten Rakutt, Baumhaus is a pioneering company in Hong Kong, seamlessly blending high-quality facilities with internationally acclaimed music programs to create a hub for creative child development and community engagement. Our family-oriented philosophy and community-centred approach have been embraced by both local and expatriate families across Hong Kong.
Before Baumhaus, Crisel, an award-winning actress, singer, and educator, impacted 120 students with Kindermusik, experiencing its profound influence on children's creativity and development. Crisel envisioned a community space that would inspire lifelong learning, creativity, and a kinder generation through music and movement.
In collaboration with co-founder Carsten, they brought Baumhaus to life, a unique fusion of a creative arts education centre and a family recreation space, fostering a welcoming, collaborative environment that encourages parents to participate.
Baumhaus is where arts and talents flourish, offering children aged 0 to 4 a place to explore, learn, and grow together. Join us on this journey, where imagination takes centre stage, and your child's potential is celebrated.
Build
Our high-quality wooden playspace, imported from Germany and adhering to EU safety standards, caters to children from babies to 4 years old. Our café offers food and drink menus, making mealtimes convenient for the whole family.
Nurture
We offer interactive programs in music, movement, language, and drama that encourage self-expression and confidence. These programs are led by early childhood specialists well-versed in education, family care, and the performing arts.
Grow
We actively engage and nurture the Baumhaus community through events, workshops, seminars, and meet-ups. Furthermore, we develop partnerships with businesses and NGOs to facilitate teacher training, events and community education.
