Rae
Teacher
Rae is a music teacher at Baumhaus in Hong Kong. Growing up in a family of musicians, she has been exposed to different genres at an early age. Although she often sings jazz songs, alternative rock is her go-to genre.
Rae's first foray into teaching was in children's cooking classes, where she discovered her passion for connecting with children. When she was introduced to Kindermusik, she knew it was "the job" for her. Rae has been a part of the Baumhaus team since 2018 and has completed several workshops in family education and early childhood methodologies, including the Parent Effectiveness Training method.
Music has always been her gateway to express how she feels and has helped her overcome different situations growing up. She believes that through music, children can find their identity and develop life-long skills. Rae feels grateful to be surrounded by an empowering team at Baumhaus and is ready to give valuable support and joy to the families there.
Ysa
Teacher
Growing up, Ysa's love for music was nurtured by her parents' involvement in their church community. Regular attendance at praise and worship sessions with her family instilled in her an appreciation for music's power to bring people together. This musical background has shaped her approach to education. She believes in the importance of music as a tool for emotional expression and learning.
Teacher Ysa holds a Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in the same field. Ysa has also completed specialized training through the Social Welfare Department's One-year In-service Course in Special Child Care Work.
At Baumhaus, Teacher Ysa strives to use her knowledge and teaching philosophy into practice by guiding children to explore and express their feelings through the language of music. Her goal is to foster a warm, inclusive space where each child's "unique melody" can flourish.
Judy
Teacher
Judy is a music teacher at Baumhaus in Hong Kong. She received her Diploma for Music Performance (Singing) from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and has traveled extensively with The University of the East Chorale since 2000, lending her crystal clear soprano to concerts and competitions. She also taught at Nagaland Conservatory of Music in India from 2013–2017.
After teaching college students for a number of years, Judy felt like she needed a change and discovered Kindermusik in 2019. As a classically trained artist, she believes that a child must be developed in a holistic way to become better adult learners or adults in general. At Baumhaus, she aims to support children's development through music and believes that music is a powerful tool for children to express themselves and develop their creativity.
Dre
Teacher
Dre believes that music is a universal language that transcends barriers, encouraging children to be fearless in their exploration, in order to create while having a great deal of enjoyment. As a child, Dre's musical instincts were encouraged to flourish in Church as he sang in different genres and learned how to play the guitar and bass. He eventually joined The Voice Teens (Philippines), where he was able to further develop his vocal and performance skills. As a Baumhaus teacher, Dre passionately strives to foster an environment where the children can express themselves through music, empowering them to discover their unique skills, voices and talents.

For the past three years, Clala has been an integral part of the Baumhaus team, demonstrating remarkable versatility by managing reception, providing childcare, and engaging families through social media. Her dedication has made her a beloved presence in our community.
