Teacher

  • Teacher KC is a music teacher at Baumhaus in Hong Kong. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Health and Sciences and worked in a medical setting for 2 years before realizing her love for children. As a Christian, she actively sings as part of the worship team in her church and believes that music is a beautiful expression of unspoken language that comes from a person's innermost being.

Teaching children is not new to Teacher KC, as she has been homeschooling her two daughters while teaching music and movement in Singapore. She was one of the senior teachers under Kindermusik Singapore and worked there for 8 years before moving to Hong Kong in 2021.

Now at Baumhaus, Teacher KC aims to partner with parents and caregivers using music as a powerful tool to support children's holistic learning and development in a healthy and fun-filled environment.

  • Rae is a music teacher at Baumhaus in Hong Kong. Growing up in a family of musicians, she has been exposed to different genres at an early age. Although she often sings jazz songs, alternative rock is her go-to genre.

Rae's first foray into teaching was in children's cooking classes, where she discovered her passion for connecting with children. When she was introduced to Kindermusik, she knew it was "the job" for her. Rae has been a part of the Baumhaus team since 2018 and has completed several workshops in family education and early childhood methodologies, including the Parent Effectiveness Training method.

Music has always been her gateway to express how she feels and has helped her overcome different situations growing up. She believes that through music, children can find their identity and develop life-long skills. Rae feels grateful to be surrounded by an empowering team at Baumhaus and is ready to give valuable support and joy to the families there.
