Founder / Head of Learning & Development

Crisel

Crisel Consunji is an award-winning actress, musical theatre professional, and early childhood educator based in Hong Kong. She moved to Hong Kong in 2008 to work as a vocalist for Hong Kong Disneyland and has since established herself as a voice in early childhood education, championing arts-based learning for young children. She founded Baumhaus, an arts education initiative that provides support for commercial and community programs, and leads the distribution and training for the US-based Kindermusik program.

Crisel holds an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and an M.A. in Global Politics. She is engaged in community-based organizations that promote youth empowerment, children's welfare, and family support. She advocates for more equitable societies through capacity building, opening opportunities for less-advantaged youth, and supporting talent-based initiatives.

Rae

Teacher / L&D Manager

Rae's first foray into teaching was in children's cooking classes, where she discovered her passion for connecting with children. She has been a part of the team since 2018, and since then has completed several workshops in Family Education and early childhood methodologies— including the Parent Effectiveness Training method, and the RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) approach.

Musically, Rae made her stage debut in 2022 as part of the ensemble cast in Hong Kong Singer’s Once on This Island. Growing up in a musically inclined family, she was exposed to various genres from an early age and now specialises in pop, jazz, and musical theatre, with a personal affinity for alternative rock. Music has always been her gateway for expression.

At Baumhaus, Teacher Rae is dedicated to advocating for children and empowering parents and caregivers to support their growth through the creative arts.

Judy

Judy brings a world of musical excellence to her role at Baumhaus. A classically trained soprano, she holds a Diploma in Music Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Her performance career has taken her across the concert halls in Europe and Asia, and she has shared her expertise as a voice instructor in the Philippines and on the faculty of the Nagaland Conservatory of Music in India.

After years of teaching at the collegiate level, Judy discovered a new passion: Early Childhood Music Education. She found that the holistic, developmental approach of Kindermusik perfectly aligned with her belief that music is a fundamental tool for unlocking a child's potential.

At Baumhaus, Judy is dedicated to fostering creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong love of learning in every child. She believes that by nurturing young minds through music, we help them become more confident, creative, and capable individuals.

Teacher / Trainer

Dre believes that music is a universal language that transcends barriers, encouraging children to be fearless in their exploration, in order to create while having a great deal of enjoyment.

As a child, Dre's musical instincts were encouraged to flourish in Church as he sang in different genres and learned how to play the guitar and bass.  He eventually joined The Voice Teens (Philippines), where he was able to further develop his vocal and performance skills. As a Baumhaus teacher, Dre passionately strives to foster an environment where the children can express themselves through music, empowering them to discover their unique skills, voices and talents.

Tin

Tin has always had a deep passion for music, a significant part of her life since childhood.

Having learned piano early on and later falling in love with the guitar, she appreciates Baumhaus’ commitment to integrating music and education. Dedicated to teaching that music is a beautiful endeavour, Tin encourages children to explore it with emotion, courage, and creativity.

Alongside her musical pursuits, Tin enjoys creating environments that foster energy, community, and learning for both children and caregivers.

With four years of architecture studies, she has a solid design foundation, complemented by experiences such as receiving the Asia's Young Designer Gold Award for Hong Kong in 2025 and the AIA Hong Kong Scholastic Award.

At Baumhaus, Tin merges her architectural knowledge with her love for music, wishing to craft spaces where children can unlock self-expression and find confidence in themselves while appreciating the joy and value of music.
