A Message from our Founder

Why We Are Here ☺

We sometimes stop and ask ourselves, “Why are we doing this?” Through the journeys to Baumhaus and back, activity repetitions, and ups and downs of the infant and toddler life, we sometimes wonder what we’re moving towards.

And here it is…

  • Every time we allow age- appropriate activities, we build opportunities for the child to participate and feel confident in her abilities to be the architect of her choices, of her destiny.

  • Every time we run routines, we nurture a sense of security, which the infant and toddler needs as they learn to understand who they are in this world.

  • Every time we make social connections with your family and caregivers, we model for the child what kind of people we can grow to be—communicative, respectful, and ready to be part of the global community.

For us, music is more than a creative goal—it is a language through which we can connect with the youngest of persons, and help them realize that they are capable of making an impact in the world. Through music, children can “speak” back to us, and the little things we do in Kindermusik, no matter how mundane they may seem, have purposeful knowledge behind them.

We often say that it takes a few weeks for a child to feel comfortable in their environments. As the term progresses, we look forward to getting to know you and your children better, and finding more ways to learn from you while sharing what we’ve learned from others, too.

Do take the time to get in touch. Our Learning and Development Managers Bea, Miro and I will be available for you, in the centres in the coming weeks. We are also releasing a new round of workshops this month. Please do check them out, as we ourselves have learned a lot from them.

Have a great week ahead!
