4. What is your favorite part of your classes?

The time where children start to manifest what they learn and seeing them be proud of themselves.

5. How would you like to be remembered as a teacher?

As a fun loving person, but taken seriously in desirable situations. I wanna be remembered as a happy, polite person with much needed knowledge of teaching and people like having me around. I want to inspire through my thoughts and personality!

Teacher Crisel

1. What do you love about teaching?

One of the best parts of my job is sharing with parents how intelligent and artistic their children are, and that these children communicate their talents in many different ways. The glow on the parents' faces is incomparable, as they realize the many unique ways that their children are special. In a way, this is my way of telling them, "You are amazing parents. Don't ever let anyone else make you feel otherwise.”

2. What do you look forward to everyday?

I look forward to empowering every child to be as unique, empathetic and creative as s/he is, we are building a generation of responsible, loving, happy and artistic people. By filling their childhood with joyful memories, we are building up the positive voice inside them, that will guide their way for the rest of their lives.

3. What is your favourite part of classes?

Learning from the children! Sometimes, I wonder who's learning more-- the children or me? After all, the children challenge me to be the most honest, attentive, communicative, patient and solid person I can be in their presence. I've learned that it's not our voices or our talents that make children listen-- it's the integrity with which we relay, "I am 100% here, because you deserve it.”

Teacher Miro

1. What do you love about teaching?

I love having such an immediate impact in children’s lives. Every time I see their faces light up when they discover something new, or learn that they are capable of doing so much more, gives me so much joy.

2. What for you is a Baumhaus teacher? What sets you apart?

A Baumhaus teacher is one who is able to connect with both children and grown-ups alike through the power of the arts. We are all able to strike the right balance of entertainment and education, using our varying degrees of performing arts skills to capture the hearts and imaginations of our young audience.

3. What do you look forward to everyday?

I look forward to greeting my little students everyday. I really feel like I am welcoming a part of my family inside the classroom every time I see them!

4. What is your favorite part of your classes?

It has to be when I sing to the class! I feel like I’m giving a part of myself and when they smile, clap, sway,  tap or even just move to my ukulele, I feel like a million bucks.

5. How would you like to be remembered as a teacher?

I would like to be remembered as that teacher who really cared about their children, even if it’s just 45 minutes in a week.

Teacher Bea

1. What do you love about teaching?

I love being with the children, and watching how music and movement help them grow and shine. Teaching feels like sharing a part of me, and knowing I have made a difference in a child or parent’s life keeps me going. I also love that I am able to sing and dance in class everyday!

2. What for you is a Baumhaus teacher? What sets you apart?

Being a Baumhaus teacher means you are a teacher that genuinely cares. Here at Baumhaus, we are more than just a playroom or classroom, we are a family that genuinely cares and looks out for your family. A Baumhaus teacher is a Creative Arts specialist that masters his/her curriculum and goes the extra mile by adding their own personal touch and personal insights to it! We not only stick to the KM or DL curriculum—we go beyond it with pleasure!

3. What do you look forward to everyday?

Being with the children and families. My work doesn't feel like work because of how much fun I have, and how truly amazing it is to be working day in, day out with children and seeing them grow right in front of your very eyes!

4. What is your favourite part of classes?

The favourite part of my classes would be when a child or baby discovers something for the very first time! It is amazing how much you can teach and impart to a child, and seeing them apply and understand this is just wonderful! Sometimes when you see a baby tap for the first time, the intensity of how big this is to you feels a little over the top—but it really does feel like a huge deal! Because, through your help and guidance, you were able to successfully impart the steady beat to this baby, and this concept alone will help him develop in ways you cannot imagine!

5. How would you like to be remembered as a teacher?

As someone who genuinely loved their children and who did her best to allow music to help their children grow. I would like to be known as the teacher who not only taught musical concepts, but was able to equip the children with life skills and good values too!
